days like this were made for curling up on the couch under a grizzly (fake fur throw I made a couple of years back) with the puppy, enjoying a coffee and little bit of me time with the interweb and the knitting while the man sleeps in.
mm.. yummy rainy overcast melbourne day. I really missed this type of weather when I was in Sydney - sure it rained, but the way the locals reacted you'd think a blizzard had come to town. here people just grab their brollies, their (black) coats and get on with it. of course - the melbs weather does mean you need to pay a little more attention to the weather report in the morning. but I think that is why melbourne is more fashion-centric than sydney. you need to think about what you put on in the morning - for example - it's nearly summer, and there is no way you could leave the house today with a nice cosy sweater, but a week ago it was hot enough to swan around in tank tops and minis (not that I did - my office is casual, but there are still some standards i try to adhere to)
